About Dramaqueer Media Platform,

The first step to any struggle is to show that it exists. Dramaqueer Media also aims to make queer art and existence visible. This is basically what is desired. Dramaqueer Media will set out with the slogan “WE EXIST” and soon we will also say “WE ARE MANY!”. Dramaqueer Media aims to reach new art practices, producers/productions who cannot find a place in the mainstream media or who doesn’t want a place in mainstream media. We plan to archive/update queer content (films, theater play, music videos) produced from the past to the present. At the same time, with the original content (biographical short films about queer celebrities,mini drama series, virtual exhibitions, online magazine) we will produce, we aim to provide safe andsustainable employment to people from the LGBTQIA+ community who are forced to work underprecarious conditon or who cannot even find work due to discrimination, transphobia andhomophobia.

Our aim is to revive queer culture and create a contemporary queer memory with this very motivationand the support we hope to receive from you. The collective also plans to expand the network to international collaborations by introducing the Dramaqueer Media as a platform of showcasing similar mediums of queer nature from abroad aswell.
