Akış Ka

A Brief Pause was a day-long festival that celebrated joy and togetherness. Through performances, music, and workshops, we created an entangled space. We shared a response-ability that helped us alter (and inspire) each other as hosts and guests. So, the offering of a cushion, a poem, or the touch of a blanket carefully unravelled an ongoing dialogue of change and mutual adaptation.

We rehearsed radical hospitality in our hub, designed to stimulate the seeding of connections, companionship, and kinship. We shared solace, joy, and pleasure as one multifaceted being through workshops that helped us embody ourselves/our-selves/our selves. And we expanded, contorted, and fed our curiosities through a selection of performances, talks, and screenings.
